New collection inspiration images

As I am going to start working on a new collection very soon, I have done quite a bit of inspiration research to figure out in what direction to head.  I have to say that my biggest obsessions right now are colour blocking, bold prints and colours, mix and match, appliqué details and lose fitting and asymmetrical silhouettes!!! I am loving all the chunky/ bright accessories that complete the looks so I will be creating a few of those too... You can also check out my complete inspiration board on pinterest.

Lookbook photoshoot

It has been a long time since I last posted pics of my newest pieces, mainly because the last few months of 2011 were extremely busy/crazy and unfortunately I did not have much time to update my blog and work on my collection.

Starting 2012 with a new years resolution of better time management and a goal of creating new posts more frequently, my sister Nadine (from Modern Girls in Vintage Pearls) and I decided to do a photoshoot with a few of my looks from 2011; doesn't she look amazing ?
